We saw this Alaskan Brown Bear working their way down a beach in Lake Clark National Park, Alaska looking for razor shell clams. We thought she would pass right by us without an issue. Once she got within about 20 feet of us, she decided that was a perfect place to rest, and sit on the beach just looking around. One of the places she looked was directly at me almost to say “I see you. I am okay with you unless you come any closer.” I did not. I gave her plenty of space and after sitting for a moment, she got up, turned away, and slowly walked back down the beach from where she came.
