Red Fox
This photograph would have never happened if three things didn’t come together. First, before sunrise one morning my daughter woke up and wanted to go downstairs. Second, as we were talking, I saw a flash of something run by our back window. Third, moments later, our dogs barked by a front window. I looked out and there was the fox in our front yard.
Seconds later, the fox trotted off and so did I with camera in hand. I caught up with him a few blocks away as he stood at an intersection. He was nice enough to stand on high ground allowing separation from the neighborhood in the background. It only lasted for a few seconds, and he was off again. I was only able to take a few photographs of him and this was my favorite.
11”x14” color print with 2” black matting, black metal frame, and non-glare acrylic. Total approximate dimensions of finished framed print are 15”x18”.
