When you’re lucky enough to guess exactly where the bear is going to come out of the woodline you are both excited that you were right and a little concerned. Now the bear is heading right towards, staring directly at you, and someone has to mover over.
In the mountains of Asheville, North Caroline, on a beautiful summer day this female Black Bear was seen crossing the road with two cubs. My wife and I guessed where she may reemerge from the woods and we were right. The mother bear came out of the woods first making sure it is okay for her cubs to follow. I wasn’t able to capture them all in the same frame due to the mother being in the lead and so close to us.
12”x18” color print with 2” black matting, black metal frame, and non-glare acrylic. Total approximate dimensions of finished framed print are 16”x22”.
