Meadering Brook
While on a Photography Tour early one Sumer morning, we stopped in the Geyser Basin area near Old Faithful and came across this meandering brook. While it may appear as if it was cloudy and overcast, that was not the weather at all. The fog you see is steam from the nearby geysers creating a dramatic mood. While the photo was originally taken in color, the steam in the air and dead trees (due to geyser runoff) appeared devoid of any color, and so it was converted to a pure black and white image.
12”x18” black and white print with 2” black matting, black metal frame, and non-glare acrylic. Total approximate dimensions of finished framed print are 16”x22”.
