Indigo Bunting
While hiking along a trail at Daniel Wright Woods, in northern Illinois in search of songbirds, I heard the loud and distinct song of an Indigo Bunting. After some searching, he made it easy when he suddenly flew to the perch on a shrub right in front of me. He flew between a couple of different shrubs but continually returned to this same branch. I patiently waited and was rewarded with this image when he flew back, landed, and sang his (or her) heart out.
11”x14” color print with 2” black matting, black metal frame, and non-glare acrylic. Total approximate dimensions of finished framed print are 15”x18”.
