In the summer evening on a certain lake in Minocqua Wisconsin you can hear the unmistaken call of the Loon. It is as much summer as the warm days, canoe rides, and water activities. A small group of us went searching for these Loons at sunset and were happy with finding a mother and now not so little baby. We slowly approached in a pontoon boat. The loons are used to boats on the lake, so they weren’t frightened, and they went about their business.
