Bobby Socks

$225.00

Bobby socks is the name that refers to the white mineral residue left on these Log Pole Pine tree trunks in Yellowstone National Park. As the tree absorbs the water, the minerals in the water are left on the trunks of the tree and turn white. The geothermal activity in the area killed the trees. The lifeless trees coupled with the vapor in the air from the nearby geysers transform the forest into a desolate yet calming place.

12”x18” color print with 2” black matting, black metal frame, and non-glare acrylic. Total approximate dimensions of finished framed print are 16”x22”.
